Mojang and Microsoft have finally released the long-awaited Minecraft ($6.99) version 1.19 update that is titled The Wild Update. It is rolling out now on iOS and Android and should be live on all platforms by later today. This update follows Caves & Cliffs Update Part II as the first major update for the game. If you’ve not kept up with Minecraft 1.19 and its new trailers, it adds in new biomes, blocks, mobs, and more. The two brand new biomes are the Deep Dark and Mangrove Swamp. The new mobs are the warden, allay, and finally the frog. To celebrate today’s launch of the Minecraft update, Mojang has released a new launch trailer showcasing what the update has to offer. The Deep Dark biome includes the shrieker, sculk blocks, and more while the Mangrove Swamp includes mangrove trees, mud block, a boat with a chest, and more. The new frog mob can create froglight blocks by attacking magma cubes as well. The Minecraft 1.19 update is rolling out now for iOS, Android, Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox platforms worldwide.
